Purpose

The purpose of Life Groups is to help the church body grow in their faith through building community, pursuing intentional growth, reaching the unchurched, and serving like Jesus. We passionately believe the mission of the church is to make disciples (Matthew 28).

Life Groups seek to help people grow in their love for Jesus, as they learn to follow Him, and in the journey towards becoming a fully devoted disciple. They are expression of Biblical community, which was beautifully pictured in Acts chapter 2.

Goals

Calvary’s Life Groups aim to provide people with a place to CONNECT with each other, a place to LOVE AND BE LOVED, and a forum to GROW in their walks with Jesus. Life Groups also provide great ways for God’s people to SERVE together.
