Proverbs 27:17, “As iron sharpens iron so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.”

The vision of the Men’s ministry is to:

• Create godly opportunities for men to gather in fellowship and camaraderie, participating in activities of common interest and to become rooted, established, and built up in the faith.
• Provide opportunities for leading unsaved family, friends and acquaintances to Christ.
• Provide an opportunity for men to disciple one another and create close relationships where the untroubled can help the struggling and the stronger can lift up the weaker.

Ultimately, goals for the men’s ministry are to:

• Help men become more rooted, established and built up in their faith.
• Raise up godly men to become leaders in all facets of their lives.
• Encourage men to live in such a way that they bring God glory in every aspect of their lives, including relationships at home, at work, in the community, and in the church.
• Establish small groups that meet, weekly, biweekly or monthly.

The Men’s Ministry will always abide by the principles of Scripture:

Hebrews 10:22-25, “Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider on another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.”
