In Kindergarten my daughter’s peers mock her while she prays for her lunch. In Junior High the temptations will be greater. In Senior High the temptation horizon will broaden. At all stages we must learn to OVERCOME. Paul the apostle exhorted the Romans in the 12th Chapter of his letter to them: “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”

Evil is prevalent, but it can be overcome by that which is good. Even if that means one heart at a time. OVERCOME. High School Ministry is a place where the worship is sweet, where the teachings are relavent and it is a launching pad for High School students who desire to follow the example of Jesus, who was able to overcome evil by the ultimate good.
